Good Thai in the Western Burbs

Hey all, anyone know of a good Thai restaurant in the western burbs?

I've got a taste for some Pad See Iew.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

There is a Thai restuarant at Schaumburg Road and East Avenue (Streamwood, just west of Barrington Road. Not a super fancy place, but the Thai food was excellent.

La Siam on Rt 59 next to Borders is not bad. There is also a place in DT Naperville next to Bar Louie..

Buy some Aloe Vera Toliet Paper if you go with the spicy stuff....

La Siam hit the spot. Pretty good stuff over there. It was much better than I was expecting.

I like Thai Lotus, just south of the U-Haul facility at 59 & Ogden. Family owned and run, nice people and good food.

I didn't know about that one, thanks.

I'm a big fan of the place 1000RR mentioned by the Bar Louie in DT Naperville. Then again it's like 5 steps from the NCC campus

Le Siam was good. I had the left overs last night. The Pad See Iew needed a ilttle sugar, but was good stuff. Great suggestion 1000RR. I've had better, but I doubt I will find anything better in the Western Burbs. I'll try the place near Bar Louie next.

I like that one too but this one is close to my house. Another plus is they have a very reasonably priced lunch buffet. It always has one curry both meat and veg versions, pad thai and special noodle, and a couple of other dishes. VERY GOOD DEAL for lunch!

Sounds good to me. That reminds me of Chinese Kitchen by my house. I can barely walk out of there I'm so full after the $5 lunch special.
