Cingular phone users

I spoke yesterday to their customer rep and he has told me that now and then they try to download latest patches to cell phones. Tower contains the patches for two days. The only way for your phone to get it is for you to power it down and up. He said that this should be done every other day. I know it is a pain in the rear, but what are you going to do.

I have Cingular and have been with them for almost 3 years. I have no complaints about the service or signal. They've been pretty good to me and I plan on sticking with them for a long time. I especially like it that a good portion of my family are also Cingular users so its free to call them.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I was with AT&T and never had a problem. Signal was great, customer service was ok. I rarely had to deal with them so it was never an issue. Now that I was forced to change to Cingular I guess I'm just as happy. Their plans are a little more expensive, but it is nice that everyone in my family and most of my friends are with Cingular. It helps out when it is the only phone that you have.

You guys can go back and forth on this one,

I still say Nextel suck more than Cingular and T Moblie combined

The only good thing that company has done is hire the marketing agency that came up with the three dudes dancing in the office to Salt N Pepa... I still laugh every time with that commercial.

WOW, I get busy at work and this conversation gets on who is better

Well, in that case I will vote for Congular hands down. Had them since 1990. Did a stupid move to T-Mobil; two years ago, was so glad that I only did a1 year cotract. Phone did not work in 30% of places that I went. It did not work in my house. Service customer and other wise was horrible.

I am glad to pay few bucks extra to Cingular and not have any issues and have coverage anywhere I go.
