Cool 3.5 Hours on the phone with tech support.

Fracking Quick Books and India! I use QB Pro to handle my office. QB 2005 worked perfect. The 2006 upgrade sucks in a NT multiuser env. and has serious problems. 3.5 hours talking to someone in India who I couldn't understand 1/3rd of the time and it still didn't work. Multiple reboots on the NT server (my staff loved that) and upgrades and it was still fracked. I finally figured out what they were trying to accomplish, took a break and manually did it. A smooth 8 hour upgrade.

OK I feel better now.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Give Pakistan nukes and permission to use them on India. After that claim Pakistan is hiding terrorist and nuke them. Result, tons of economic growth in the USA and tech support from people you can understand.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Must have been something in the air today... I spens 2 and a half hours on the phone with QB Premier 2005.... I don't think the tech support people know what the hell they are doing.... it took me 10 minutes to figure it out after I got off the phone with them.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

NT? As in 4.0? Crap, would that even meet the system requirements for 2006?

You know, I'm not even sure which version is on that server. I did an upgrade in 04 on our mail server so we have 2003 SBS software on it. I'm not sure if what my IT guy did on that machine. I think it's still 2000.

I know, I have to stop calling it NT.
