Bro, hopefully you don't have it as bad as I did.... 2 months to kick it and I don't usually get sick. If it is due to sinus drainage, get some alergy meds to dry it up.

This may sound weird, but I truly believe it works. Anytime I feel a cold coming on i say to myself "Dude your too freaking busy to get sick" and 9 times out of 10 I don't Must be the power of postive thinking or some BS like that. Or it could be I take a one a day multi vitamin, workout 5 days a week, eat well, no smoking or drinking, get plenty of sleep, drink plenty of water. But, to all that are under the weather, take two aspirin, drink plenty of fluids and call me in the morning

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

I think it does too. Your attitude and mood plays a good sized part in your health. Thats one bit of hippie mumbo jumbo I agree with

I've been sick recently too. I went to the doctor and had an upper respitory infection...gave me some zithromax and it cleared it right up. I know its been going around and you will have a very hard time kickin it without some meds.

Just last week I was thinking that it's been a long time since I've had a cold. Yesterday I got one . It's not too bad though and hasn't gotten any worse today so I imagine it will be gone soon. Anyone ever try that stuff the advertise on TV that's supposed to cut the time the cold lasts in half?

Hope you feel better soon, I've only had a temperature like that when I got food poisoning. My equilibrium was messed up, everything was spinning around standing still, never want to be that sick again.

".... Yeah, I did stay at a Holiday Inn before."

Just like I typed when Tony was sick. No matter what - SLEEP. Not goof off on a pc, not watch tv, not jerk off but SLEEP. It's a proven fact because the body spreads its resources around when you're pushing it being awake, working hard and for nothing. There will always be something to do at work. It'll always be there. Your health you must keep a check on. So typically you keep a cold longer than you should doing 12 hour shifts.
If you slept (which has no stress and needs nothing for your body to do) your white cells have a much better chance to fight off a cold. No matter what you might use to sleep, SLEEP! Use Nyquil or nighttime something cold medicine to help you sleep. Also, avoid alcoholic beverages because that puts more stress on your body and it'll have to fight to flush out that toxin and you won't have full resources for the cold, yep, while you're sleep. Use zinc lozenges while you're awake to at least keep the cold at a particular level and keep you from feeling worse.

Believe it or not, you can rid yourself of a cold in 1-2 days (when caught early and if you SLEEP).

All these members that know howl to hook up a t.v., break apart a gun, tell you where to go for a lawyer, which cable/satellite company is the best, what cord goes where, break down any bike and a whole bunch of other things and we don't have a doctor in the house?! lol

Sorry for the book. Good health to ya bro.
