Any Tv Repair Men On The Board?

My mitsubishi hd 1080 is turning on, then turning off right away.... I imagine it is doing this to protect itself? Problem is i dont wanna get raped by a repair shop. I would rather get raped by someone on this board? Nevermind... anyway, i need someone... I cant get by with no big Betsy... I need her...

What are the issues about Mitsu TVs? Mine is about 6 months old, so far so good. I am not looking forward to replacing the bulb on that thing. Hopefully, it will be cheaper by the time I need one.

Buddy of mine bought a 50" mitsu rear projection, it crapped out a few months later, the people at best buy said it was common and they had a lot of them coming back in.

My buddy at Tweeter says the Mitsus are the more reliable of the models. Just more heresay I guess. My last Mitsu TV lasted me 15" years, it was a 35" tube though. This is my first time with a projection. I have had very bad luck with Sony though.
