Who sells AGV helmets?

Hey all, I am looking for a shop that carries AGV helmets. I want to try on a XL sized helmet in their XR-2 model. I tried DGY, but they do not have a XL in stock. I tried that place in Villa Park on St. Charles Rd but they do not have a XR-2 model in XL. Anyone know of a place that carries AGV helmets? Or anyone have a XL XR-2 that I can try on? Let me know.

The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

If you cant get a hook-up for this, I am sure there will be someone representing them at the show next month, try it on there, then order on-line.

Good idea. Forgot about the show. If I can't find one by then, the show is a sure bet.

I was actually hoping to buy now. I am having it custom painted and wanted it ready for spring time. Anyone know where I can get a hold of one now?

Definitely buying online. I just need to see how the XL fits before I buy.

No luck, Willy World doesn't carry them.

Jon, are you sure you need an XL? I've seen your noggin and I think a L would be a better fit.

You've got an HJC CL-12 right now, correct? What size it that?

If you are still open to alternates I picked up a KBC Racer-1over the summer from Motorcyclecloseouts.com. Thus far, it's a really nice lid and you can't beat the price. Plus, they still have them in stock.

Almost 99% positive. Those AGV helmets are tight. Ask anyone who has one.

I have a Large HJC CL-12 right now.

Ahh, okay. If the AGV's run tight then I guess an XL will work. Just wanna make sure... I know how you like to give your helmets a good workout on the asphalt.....

What kind of paint job are you getting?

Yeah, I was looking at KBC, heard good things about them. Have my heart set on this AGV. Should look good after a little fine tuning of the paint scheme.

Chills, you were right. I am a Large. I just tried on the X-Large XR-2 and it is a little big.

I am still getting the X-Large though. I know, I should wear a helmet that fits right. But, I need it to be comfortable for every day riding. That Large AGV is a perfect fit on my head, just too snug for every day riding.

So, what I am going to do is get an extra set of Large inards. A set of Large pads will cost me $80. This way I can dress for the type of ride.

I have an AGV Vflyer and it was tight at first, but loosened up nicely after use and fit's perfectly now. I'd go with the large.

The AGVs are known to have good forming ability in their liners. That large is gonna fit nice after a while. Even still, for the long rides, I'll be wearing the X-Large. Need to be able to fit my ear buds

One shell - two liners.

The shell for the large is the same shell as the x-large. I'll buy the helmet with the X-large liner and then pick up a separate Large liner.

Not sure, shouldn;t take too long. I'm trying to decide if I should just make slight changes to the existing design or do something entirely new.

Thanks, bro!

So I tried on a Large AGV that had been broken in. Wow, that liner really does give/form to ones face. I was very surprised by how much that liner gives. I will be fine with the Large. It will just take some time to break in before it will be comfortable.

may i suggest that after a short break in period that large will also cut down o extra wind noise that creeps into the helmet i have agv also and they are one of my perferences always concider breakin that exta large will get alittle looser which wil make it shift a little on your head with more noise around your ears which is were wind noise is most noticable in helmets

live to ride ride to live
