Simply amazing discovery I made... picture within

OK so I was just randomly looking for something and somehow ended up in some of my basketball card storage.

Someone tell me how this stack of cards is still up...

Impressive!

Static Electricity is my guess.

Now put on some pants, tell Mom you're leaving the basement for awhile and get some air!

Silence your face.

Luckily I looked at my school's academic calendar yesterday because... SURPRISE SURPRISE I have class today at 8AM and lots of homework to turn in that I thought I would start early but low and behold I had less than 24 hours to finish it all.

True story.

While we are on the subject is there anywhere online where I can check baseball card prices? I have tons of Donruss baseball cards from the mid 80s. I am sure most of them aren't worth jack but maybe I have one or two that are keepers.

I think www.beckett.com has a free trial period, although it's probably not that long.

Chuck Norris once glanced in that stack of card's general direction. They will never fall. Ever.

A buddy of mine looked into selling his cards. He had some decent cards from that era. Problem is that there were GOBS of them made, to the point where very few are "collectable". Even big name, Hall of Famers aren't worth much from that time frame.

That is what I heard as well. The market became saturated thus bringing prices way down. Oh well.

Ebay didn't help either. I have tons of comicbooks from the 40s and 50s...all of them were in the $1000 range before, now I couldn't sell any of them for more than a couple hundred bucks.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Werd.

If I was born early enough to start collecting cards in '85-'86 I'd be rich.
