The President has landed

Well I can't wait till he leaves and he just got here He is having a fundraiser luncheon at the Hotel I work at for 1 hour and then he is gone. Working with secret service and there communications people are draining. After setting up over $200 telephone lines at various places in the hotel I am ready for them to get the F out One thing is for sure these guys spend alot of money for telecom stuff.

See if he can spell the word "president". I'm guessing 50/50 he botches it.

Ask him why I paid $2.11 for gas 10 days ago and this morning it was $2.33 at the same station.

That would have to do with a certain saudi waking up on the wrong side of the bed and passing gas. Since thats what dives the fuel market, rumor, innuendo and saudis farting the wrong way

Man.......sorry bro but those statements bug me. You want freedom?, you have to let the market decide price and quit blaming the government for it.

You just have to ride a bike that gets 80 miles per gallon. See this month's Cycle World.

In 73', or right about then, Yamaha commissioned a study to see when and if people would start riding motorcycles in response to the oil embargo. 85% of the respondents said they wouldn't ride a motorcycle to work no matter how high gas went.

"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard..."

I was watching the secret service / police close off the streets and the helicopters landing in the field out of my window. Interesting stuff.

Did I say I blamed him? Nope, I just wanted to know why. Maybe he has the answer and can tell me. I didn't say he did it or the government did it. Don't read too much into questions, my friend.

Fair enough. I've just seen those questions get pushed into blame too many times around here

I can see that meeting being very awkward.

No worries. Re-reading my post it looks like I could be blaming him. I'm not. I know enough that the President has little to do with the corner BP jumping their prices almost overnight. The economy is too huge of a beast to be changed greatly by one man over just a few years.

If I worked downtown I'd look out the window, but thanks for the help.

Vacations for me are more like a couple day get-aways, and this is one of our favorite stays. I didn't realize a board member worked there. If this the place.

Just to update you all, remember when you could park on Columbus Dr (the 3 blocks with Buckinham Fountain in the middle; 1 block east of Michigan Ave)? Well, that's changed. You can park within those 3 blocks but now parking will cost you:

.25 FOR 5 MINUTES!!!

Almost as if there is some scheme to make a person park in the Millineum Park Parking lots. Bush is fortunate he doesn't have to deal with that obvious terrorist act!

Isn't that $3 an hour? That's not too bad, for where it's at and all.

You can't put 3 dollars in at once though. It's a scam. Keep a stopwatch with you.
