Anyone remember this classic, had a 1979 and man was it fast. I was kinda looking around to maybe find one and go old school.

First thing I thought up Chris...

The history on THAT one is Gregg (turbospeediii) was going to do a super mod on one (naturally, a turbo being one of them). He bought that one off an ad in a paper, but it was in SUPER good condition, so much he was having reservations about doing the change. Gregg also has a bunch of other stuff in his garage so this probably got pushed aside.

Gregg keeps his stuff in order, so it's a good bike.

The garage is to full...I will take $2500 if the person buying does not give me any greif....thanks for the plug guys!

also mine is not a LTD its just a KZ1000 In my opinion the LTD is not as good of a bike as the KZ1000 is a little more sporty.

I used to have a KZ1000
it had a gs swingarm smoothbores andrews cams and of course a Kerker and LTD seat.
I loved that bike, and still miss it to this day.
Nothing sounded like that bike with a Kerker,
I sold it to get one of the faster bikes that were coming up.

I liked the taller back wheel of the non ltd as well.

remember this from mad max

I had a KZ 900 after my H2. It was punched to 1024 with Denco(sp?) cams and a Hooker header. 1st bike that I tripled the double nickle on. I kept burning out rear tires. Remeber how loose they would get rolling on the power coming out of turns? Man I miss that bike and would love to find a cheap and clean used one around too. Although, I'd buy an H2 first for the sheer insanity of it.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

My dad had like 5 of 'em...the original '73 (i think) Z1...my personal favorite...and 3 or 4 KZ1000's, one of which he had custom painted with him playing double bass drums (he was a rock drummer)...my first bike was an '82 Kaw KZ550 Ltd., beatiful bike that i paid $950, put 6000 miles on it without one problem and sold it for the same...those old Kawasaki's are bulletproof
