Yeah, but I blew my wad on this. I doubt that I'll manage a rs for next year.

Tony,

I don't think there is an Infinity I don't like right now. I was originally looking at the m45, but I snagged a dealer demo with 4,000 on it for less than the M.

The M 45 is "Midsize" the Q is the top of line boat. Both share the Q's mill. The M is more of a driver's car with limited goodies. It was built to go after the BMW 5 series. I'd guess the 540. The Q is aimed more at the Lexus 470 market.

The Q is just off the deep end with the gizmos and comfort. Hell, it has heated power reclining rear seats. A rear view tv that comes on when backing up. Voice recognition for the gps, climate, radio and cd. Radar controlled interval for the cruise control. Power shades in the rear. Climate and radio controls in the rear armrest. There isn't even a normal key, it's just a chip in the remote entry fob (I don't want to know how much that costs if lost). etc etc etc

It's really in the stupid mode. No, that's a bad choice of words. You need to read the manual for hours to learn how to do most of the cool stuff.

Oh, it's Pearl White under 3 inches of snow.

They are excellent vehicles. My wife used to be the service advisor over at Infiniti of lisle. Thye had very few problems, not to mention a whole host of loaner cars just waiting for you should you need service. Their customer service is right on par with Benz or BMW, if not better in some cases.

Tony,

That's what I've heard too. #1 is Lexus. #2 is Infinity. And I traded in a Maxima that had basically 0 problems in 80,000 miles. I like Nissan products. They put a lot of value and reliability into their cars. I got mine from Motor Werks of Barrington. Their service dept is awsome (You could almost eat off the floor), not that I expect to be visiting. I just got to talk them into loaning me the M3 I test drove if I ever need service.

BTW, did you know there is a 6 month wait for new M3s or M5s and no deals?
