I'm with you that would be a blast in my cul-de-sac and one of these days the cops are going to catch me before I close the garage door.

What do they run ??

I figure if I'm too big for it (don't think I am), my kid could ride it. Those are way too cool.

Anybody know what they cost ? Or where to get them ?

(Think Jack's got one doesn't he ?)

I think $1500 to $3000 would be a more accurate range, of course depending on which brand and model you go with.

Thanks - Yea, there is also a site (www.pocketbikes.com) that gives alot of info about them.

Seems like they are NOT a good toy for kids though !! The power-to-weight ratio is incredible, the hand controls are usually full size (for adults). Sounds like putting a 40 pound 5 year-old on this thing is almost like putting one of us on an all-out race bike.

I was hoping I could use the "its for the kids" excuse to buy another toy !! Oh well. Might still try to buy a little quad runner for the kids (just have to find out where to hide it so the wife doesn't see it)

Most racing classes require the kids to be at least 7 years old. I plan on getting a 4.2 hp for my oldest next year, as he will be 7 in May.
A good compromise would be a 6.2 hp for you to ride, and then put a restrictor in it for your kid to ride. Fun for everyone!

Nope, wish I did though. Wyatt Dodd, CCS racer and control rider extrodinare, has one. I've ridden it, pretty funny...

I really think we should find a big warehouse and race these things in the winter. Would that be cool or what???

INdoor racing is exactly what we are doing up here. It's an indoor kart racing place, and they are letting us run races there. It's fuggin' awesome!

I was wondering if you were able to ride that little thing. Heck, I sometimes get cramps on the Busa if I haven't been on it for a while.
