Cool tint?

Ok so I just bought a 2003 Sentra SE-R specV. I want to tint at least the back window and the ones in the rear doors. I'm looking for a good shop that won't over charge me and that it won't look like shit when it is done. Anyone know a good place for me to go?

I'm sure someone knows, Nick. Or at least has a suggestion. I think first of all you really need a huge exhaust or some neon windsheild washer thingies.

HA HA HA, you know damn well I'm not going to get those neon wiper things. Those look so lame. I'm just going to take off the exhaust. :P

There is a shop about a block away from Midway Airport on the corner in a building with Cingular Cellular they do a great job and good prices.

I think it's called Midway Tinting.

I wsh they would come out with that. I would love to have a helmet visor that would do that.

It kind of looks like there is a ram air hood there. I'm a bit partial to the post '97 grand prix GTP/X

Now if I could just get my HeadsUpDisplay to work on it

'99 Grand Prix GTP not GTX. I wouldn't pay the extra for the GTX don't like the looks of it. Hey Grover you got a GP? Look at http://www.chicagograndprix.net It's a GP Club.

Back on Topic:

Depends on what you want. I got all my windows done except for the front windshield which will be getting done come spring.

I have 5% on all the back windows and 20% I think on the Driver/Passenger doors. I would just watch because I'm sure you know it's ILLEGAL for ANY tint on the Driver/Passenger Doors and only allowed up to 6" on the front windshield even though ALL of my cars/trucks have had 12" on the front. I'm not sure wether you got a 4 or 2 door, but I would do all of them. IMO.

I got mine done under a group deal and only paid $150.00 for all my windows. Another good place is a Ziebart if you can find one. Make sure to ask how long of a warranty it comes with, If it's warranted against Scratches/Bubbling/Fading. Some places have a 1 year warranty, other 5 year and some even have lifetime aslong as you own your car.

G'Luck :-

The lower the % the darker. What are you talking about "Old people thingy tint?

I'm not sure what the cost would be just call and tell them what car and what you want and they will give you a quote. I think if you get enough people interested from here the guy at MidCo Tint (I thought it was MidWay Tint)may cut another group deal. Just have to give him a call about it or go there and talk to him.

Please call him for any information directly at 773-735-0799

He is located at 6301 S. Cicero Avenue, in Chicago. It is the on the South East Corner of 63rd and Cicero Avenue

Hope that helps

I had my girls 99 GTP done there. They did a great job They give you a lifetime warrenty. I had them done in 99 for $200. She has a two door by the way. The guy has done a lot of sweet cars. He has a wall with all the different cars he has done.

I would go back for sure

My cousin used to do this for a living. He used to own Windy City tinting (I think that was the name of it), was by Madison/Damen before it moved to Maywood. He got out of it some time after the law was passed making it illegal to have tinting on the front windows. I can see if he still does it on the side, though. He's located in St. Charles.
