Minor issue with my Black Razr v3

Since tuesday night my phone has had the txt msg indicator on. I've recieve txt and sent since it has come on. I talked with Cingular and they couldn't figure it out either. They now are sending me a new one.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Did you try powering the phone off and back on?

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

Everything that you can think of was done. I tried all that before talking to Cingular. When I called them they had me do it again. It's still there. Cingular is replacing the phone for free. I'm just wondering if any you guys that got the Black Razr recently has experienced something of this nature.

I had similar problem, but icon wasn't exactly right. Customer service had no clue. It turned out I was saving sent messages, and those (combined with photos) filled up memory. Do you have a lot of sent messages or photos stored?

I've heard that all black RAZR replacements are pink now - they ran out of blacks 2 weeks ago..

I purchased an unlocked Black Razr v3 and after 3 weeks the unit will not power up. When pressing the power button, you see it flash the screen and thats it. It tries to power up, then after 1 sec off again. Tried to get it replaced by the provider I purchased it from and they wont do anything, return/exchange policy is 10 days. Now I'm not sure what to do, if I send it to Motorola, it will be weeks before getting it back......Any ideas?

My service is through T-Mobile, but the phone is not from them, I don't think they will help me with this.......

They are having alot of problems with the Razr. My boyfriend works for a Us Cellular and they just got theirs. i want one badly and can get one at a pretty good price. But not until they are fixed. They all need a software update. They tend to duplicate text messages between 50 and 60% of the time to the person receiving them. They have a few other problems with the date book and some other things, and Choffman it sounds like your phone is shorted or has been wet. TMobile will not help you out with it either, because you did not buy the phone through them. I would take it to tmobile and ask them what is wrong with it, if it is something that you did not do then talk to the other people about that. Either way the Razr needs a software update pretty badly but for some people they work awesome. It really just depends, if you are having problems let your carrier know and they should be able to take care of it for you.
