need to find someone

Hey all,

I tried ZABA/Yahoo People and People Finder and cant get anything current.
Does anybody know a better way to track someone down?

Its not for anything bad.
I have a friend who is serving overseas and his wife called asking a favor on his behalf.

It was to track this dude down and deliver a important message.
I promised I would.. but now I can find him?

Any suggestions??

on a more serious note, try tracking him down through his high school or college alumni office. you might have to know someone who went where he went....

Yeah... I don't know man, smells kinda fishy... It's right up my alley though, (not the stalking bit ) so I'll share my usual process..

If he knows the guy from online, Google every bit of info you have name, email address, IM aliases, etc... and then just start combining the pieces to narrow it down. I did this for a girl that IMed me once that I didn't know who she was. I had her full name and previous job info in less than 10 mins.

You can find anything on the internet. See if illinois publishes criminal records online (my favorite) KS did and that was usually what I found. All sorts of good info... I used to do this for a friend back in KC all the time though, she would send me the guys she met before she went out with them to see if they were weirdos...

It's not the fall that hurts... it's the sudden stop at the end...
