I went down today

It was a nice day so i decdied to go out for a spin, Got the bike warmed up while I was putting my gear on, then took off out the garage. i was haulin ass havin a great time next thing I know I was rolling through a field of cattails and ended up on my back.

Sure enough the CRF70 was fine and I was laying there laughing my ass off.

I was haulin ass through this field of cattails which someone recently made a path through with a four wheeler well there was some ruts in the dirt that were still frozen underneath the crushed tails, my front wheel got sent to the right from one of them and I flew, no shittin ya about 15 feet before hitting the ground. it was awesome. biek was fine, I was fine, got back up and went and jumped some hills, started getting some good air too.

We were just out in the DP area screwing off in the area, blasting thru a few parks for a couple hours, one of the neihbors called the cops, we were blasting down the road, and the cops showed up he was a young guy, i think it was the same cop that busted me a year or two ago for doing 100+ on Mt. Prospect road, but he just told us to go home and not take them out anymore, took our info and left.

I think the official CLSB policy is when you guys go out on your little bikes get the wives to take some pics. We missed out on Ken's get off and now this. Its a SLOW Saturday and I need some entertainment.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I bleed GREEN

Gee, and I thought this was going to be another thread about fish tacos.

I'd join you in that fun if I wasn't likely to crush the thing flat, but it'd be nice to get out and get some snapshots anyway.

nope let us off with a warning. i really think the cop didn't want to take the time, he said he could count over 20 moving violations off the top of his head.. (NO working lights, non-DOT tires, no plates, no insurance, no seatbelts (non-DOT 5 point harnesses), speeding, reckless driving, no exhaust, etc etc) it was in my race car

I still hang out with my best friend Mopar, Ive known him since we were kids on CLSB. Last night, he had a few shots, got in a tight spot, riding his 50. With a couple of redneck boys, one great big bad goldwing man. I heard Mopar yell across the room, "hey buddy, how bout a helping hand lifting this 50 off me?" I said Mopar

I aint as good as i once was,my how the years have flown, but there was a time back in my prime, when i could really hold my own bike, but if you wanna ride tonight, guess those cat tails dont look all that tuff, i aint as good as i once was but im as good as i ever was..

I use to be hell on wheels, back when i was younger man, now my body says, "you cant do this boy" but my pride says "oh yes you can, until i hit those dam cattails"

I aint as good as i once was, thats just the cold hard truth, i still throw a few back, talk a little smack, when im feelin bullet proof, so dont double dog dare me now, cause id have to call your bluff, i aint as good as i once was, but im as good once as i ever was on a 70, may not be good as i once was, but im as good once as i ever was

so true
