The toruble with unusally warm days this time of year, is that they are almost always accompanied with lots of wind and/or rain. Looks like both in this case.

*cough cough* I'm starting to feel sick. I think it's going to get really bad come Wednesday....

In the meantime, just for fun and curiosity, I'm going to put my battery back in my bike and make sure she starts. I think I'll plan it for Tuesday night. Not that I'm planning on going for a ride or anything... since I'll be sick....

I actually took my bike out last night and rode for a about 2 miles. My hands and ears/eyes were completely numb when I came back in. It was fun though. Can't help but wanna ride all the time now.

As I was waiting tor the bus this morning, I saw a guy on a Honda, looked like an CBR600F2 maybe. Looked like he had six layers of clothes on. I gave him a thumbs up. Made me feel like a wimp for not riding.

bah I dont trust weather reports much. None agree and I think they wake up look outside and then tell ya its Mostly Sunny. But what the difference between Mostly sunny and Partly Cludy. I think it depends if they feel good its Mostly Sunny. If they feel bad, Partly Cloudy.

I have an applet running in the Gnome desktop on Linux, that gets the weather directly from the NOAA. It's usually pretty good. No opinionated talking head.

I thought weather reporting in Ohio was bad... but I guess I didn't know shit about horrible meterology until I moved up here. I am absolutely amazed at the sheer incompetence of the weather prediction here... I don't trust the forecast for tomorrow... much less into the week... we'll see...

Chris,

One thing that is great about being a weatherman in Chicago...if something goes wrong, you can always invoke a little two-word phrase....."LAKE EFFECT"!!!!

"Stupidity is also a gift of God, but one mustn't misuse it." - JP2

"Life is just a place where we spend time between games" - former Philadelphia Flyers coach Fred Shero
