That is a really impressive grow but I have to wonder if he honestly thought he would get away with something of that magnitude, that is a whole load of heat and energy that's just a plain dead giveaway.

DAYUM!! That's a lot of weed. Seeing those pics makes me wonder a few things:

1. How long would it take to dig out that much space?
2. How much money would that hydraulic door cost?
3. What creative mofo came up with the secret entrance under the rock? That's cool sh*t.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Ken, in one of the shots, you can see a squad car. I don't think it was the guys that took the pics, I think it was the law. These were probably evidence photos.

But anyway, can you imagine what that would smell like when you walked in there???

yeah it was won of the biggest drug bust of that style. those are all the police photo's. from what i heard is the guy that had the place before police seized it, he had alot of mexicans dig it out. he would blind fold them so they didnt really have an idea where it was at. he just got greedy and lost it. thats what happens when you get greedy at anything in life from robbing bank, drugs, etc... sooner or later you'll get caught, it just takes time... i love the bunker look to it. i would of liked to be the one that discovered that. that would of looked real good on my resume for the police dept. lol

Note to self: Stop digging out under garage. The hill of dirt in the yard might give it away. And need to by cool looking rock to cover escape hatch.

That took a lot of time and effort to construct something of that magnitude. But where do you haul all the excess dirt and rock from digging out under the house to?

I remember seeing a report that the DEA uses infrared to look for "hot spots" in known growing regions. Underground cave, that's bad ass; where there's a will I suppose.

+ is just pot, it's not like they're growing coca or cooking meth.
