Oops, was the Oscars on this weekend?

Had no interest at all in it once I heard Bareback had been nominated....

I read up on the Razzy's more than the Oscars. They are more entertaining. I see they added a new "tabloid fodder" razzy. Naturally, won by Tom Cruise.

Did not want watch one minute of the Oscars.

However, you are right...Crash was a good movie. Notice I did not say a great movie, because it wasn't, it was just good.

I just thought it was hilarious that the song from "Hustle and Flow" won best song from a movie. Who would have ever thought that 3-6 Mafia would win an Academy Award

YOu people are lame. I tivoed the red carpet and the entire show, ate way more than I should have (including a spread of girl scout cookies).

I guess this should be in the guilty pleasures thread....b/c I have a sick addiction to awards shows.

This post dripping with irony......

Obviously the civic tolerance messages in crash were lost on Mopar here.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
