Positive dealer experience

Since it seems like nobody hesitates to bash a crappy dealer.. myself included ... I figured I'd post a positive one.

I wanted to get my dad a new bag for his '96 Softail for Christmas. He's got one now, it mounts sideways on the rear fender, it's an official "Harley" bag... and it leaks. It's a stupid design, it's nylon, with a zipper on the top. So when he packs his rain gear, or a set of clothes, and gets rained on... everything gets wet. Kinda defeats the purpose. I wanted to get him one that was better, and waterproof.

So I went into Randy's Cycle on Rt.47 in Huntley. Now this is pretty much a Harley-oriented dealer, doesn't do a whole lot of sportbike stuff... but I know there's a few of you on this board that also have Harleys or other cruisers. I couldn't have dealt with a more pleasant staff. Very knowledgeable, friendly, had a few different styles of bags in stock, guy pointed out the differences in each. If I have to buy more Harley accessories, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Plus it was kinda sweet to check out the Bostrom-edition Ducati 996 on the floor

Just thought I'd pass the word on
