I just got a Colecovision!!
Found it a Cash Converters, hell the kid that I bought it from had no idea what it was...lol

I've got an Atari and a bootbox full of games.

Of course, my buddy in Maryland has all my games.

I had the smurfs, donkey kong, and a shitload of other games.
Probably about 30 or so. Which is probably 1/10th the total games.

Now I just use the PS2 and Activision Anthology.

Fuck, just had a flashback of me about 8 years old, playing those games in the basement of my parents old house.

I know we had, Miner2049er, Burgertime, DK jr, Q-bert,

Zaxxon was one of my favorites.

Q-bert is a classic, but I was too young to understand it. My older brother was good at it. He was a computer dork.

You have to bring that thing to the next CLSB get together.

I remeber there was something fancy about the colecovision controllers. I think they actually had 2 buttons!!!

I got a bunch of games a few years ago where someone made an emulator for the popular arcade video chips. It allowed you to play most of the arcade games on your PC.

one of the ladies here at work sells Avon and I looked thru one of her catalogs yesturday. They sell and Atari Joystick that plugs into the RCA input jacks on your tv. it has like 10 old Atari games built into the joystick. Centipede, asteroids to name a few. Amazing its all in the stick. But man I dont miss those really crappy graphics.

Come on now. People love classic cars from the 50's and 60's even though they have terrible brakes and shitty handling.

Everything now is faster, quieter, smoother, more intellegent... ummm.....except us.

Your right about the performance Cherry, but those old cars at least look good. cant say that about these atari games. look bad AND perform bad.

Man...if you find a copy of Turbo, complete with the little steering wheel and gas pedal...you're going to be drinking a lot of free beers while I sit in your living room and play all night!

Nice pull. Now I have to go hunt around and see if Mom threw all my old games out!

Here's the funny part. I found the original receipt when my parents got it for me some 20 years ago. I didn't even pay this much for my PS2...lol

No kidding. Up until recently we still had the Atari 2600 box and it had the price tag from Bob's Hardware where she bought it. Price in 1981.. $160 dollars!

I'm no financial whiz, but nowadays that'd be like paying what..$500 at least for a game system?

What's the ad in Vice City radio? "It comes with 3 games. Chase this red dot around with your green circle" Which station is that ad on?
