more Harley snobbery...

First off I'm a fan of ALL bikes...

Having said that if anyone has seen the commercial for Berwyn Harley I just saw during American Chopper you would have witnessed a major dose of official Harely snobbery. Without even mentioning the "harley guy's" demeanor, the ad features him getting on his "hog" with some butt ugly woman. Another guy who is supposedly a A.) sportbike rider, B.) in awe of the guy's "hog", and lastly C.) straight up dissedwhen he asks to ride with the harley guy--- and if that wasn't enough the harley guy tell him he'll have to upgrade to a harley if he want's to keep up with him... HA HA HA HA!!!

...i can attest that true Harley riders are no different than the rest of us...it's the "pseudo" rider, one who is in it for image and reputation that Harley is seemingly targeting of late...i grew up with the guys at Flattrack races, a lot of 'em turned their Harley symbols upside down on the tanks...they see the same bs the rest of the riders do...it's comical actually.

Have you ever caught that infomercial that comes on late at night (I'm not sure what dealership it is around here) but they are selling Hogs and choppers and old bikes and the guys don't know shit about motorcycles. They are studdering trying to find the next thing to tell you about this bike they are trying to sell. Thats pretty funny!

"Ahhh Ahhh yea Wilber, we gots this here chopper that goes really fast, all the chicks will love you and it looks great sitting outside the bar".

Harley's are unique.

They look funny and shake a lot. . . kinda like their owners!

The Cycle Center commercial is one of the top ten worst of all time! I'm embarrassed to be in the same state!

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. ~ Buddha
