"release dates" for games is different than for DVDs. It's actually the ship date to the stores, so they probably won't start showing up until tomorrow.

Unless you are right on the way home, I'd give it a couple days to get to the store.

What a ghey name for a motorcycle game, I would never have known it was a bike game, sounds like something where you have to take the most pictures of landmarks and collect the most commemorative spoons to win.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Does it come in SuperNintendo version? Sadly that was the last gaming console I bought.

I was up until 2am playing this shit. It's pretty easy if you've played moto GP before. I finished all the license tests and got myself a TZ125, RS Taichi leathers, Alpinestars Super Tech boots, Arai helmet, and RS Taichi gloves. Tonight, I will try to win the TZ250 so I can pretend it's me in the game.

Also, if you have an HD or HD ready tv, pick up the component cable for PS2 as the game can be played in 1080 format. The picture is damn good.

How hard are the liscense tests? Some of the ones in Gran Turismo 4 were a pain in the ass.

yeah the gold medals are hard to get but bronze is a joke. There's like a 15 second difference between Gold and Bronze. I think they might've made it a bit easy because one of the complaints of GT4 was that the license tests were too hard.

Yeah, but Moto GP 4 has had 4 release dates so far, and keeps getting bumped back. The last one was Sunday...Might want to just pick up Tourist Trophy and hold out...Plus, Tourist Trophy has Laguna Seca, only the coolest track with a corkscrew that you can find!

I just picked up the game today, and I work til 9...Damn the time!!!

Tourist Trophy...first impressions

Well i picked up my copy this afternoon. Best buy in orland didnt even have it on the shelf and the guy had no idea what I was talking about.

So i started with the beginer liscense test...which starts you out on a god damn scooter. I plow thru the cones repeatedly but get thru the tests.

I go to my garage ready to race and I find... a scooter. minus streamers..but nonetheless, a scooter. I try to race the beginer 250 race and get torn up by a nsr250 or something like that. Angered that I couldnt do all the mandatory tests.....burnouts, wheelies, and endo's...I go to arcade race mode and pic the 184hp race zx10.....and immediately make my rider wear it like a hat.

dude, just go to the challenge section...you don't "buy" bikes in this game, you pick which one you want and you've got to race another rider to win it......i feel your pain though, i was in the same boat till i realized this...damn scooter
