Last night on Congress

I was heading home last night from the city and was on Congress getting onto 290 (around 9PM). Traffic was backed up where 290 and 90/94 split off. I passed several cop cars and several tow trucks on the side of the road and then I seen a guy off to the side on a R1 (he was fine, just sitting there like he was waiting). I couldn't see anything else, anyone have a clue on what happened?

i just googled it and couldn't find anything. But my dad was driving home last night and saw that crash. He said it was a silver bike, which at that point was being moved to the side of the road, and a person on a stretcher was being carried into an ambulance

Last two paragraphs detail the accident on 290.

R.I.P. for the first guy.

This is the one I was talking about. Strange that the article title states two were killed, but the text for the second accident doesnt mention that the passenger was thrown from the bike and died.............

The other accident occurred around 10 p.m. Monday when a motorcycle hit a semi-trailer truck at Morgan Street on Eisenhower Expressway (Interstate 290), Illinois State Police Sgt. Mike Musiol said.

The truck driver likely did not know the motorcycle had struck his trailer and kept heading outbound on the expressway, preliminary reports indicated.

The man who was driving the bike was taken to Stroger Hospital. Information about the nature and severity of his injuries was not immediately available.

I wonder what he was doing that caused him to hit the trailer of the truck. Where did he hit it and how fast was he going? What gear was he wearing?

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I bleed GREEN

Sure did. Know the exact spot it happened. 4 died including a six year old waiting his turn to get a ride on 4-wheeler. Dad witnessed it. Very sad.
