I suggest a par-lay into "Lies" and enjoy some acoustics

Just my .02 - Where's Duff?

GREATEST...ROCK...ALBUM...EVER!

It was so good, the band had to self destruct to keep the legacy alive.

too bad they made the spaghetti incident and those 2 bloated use your illusion turds. if I had a time machine I'd go back to about '89 and kick Axl in the nuts to set him straight before the insanity started taking over.

and I've discussed this before, but if axl hadnt got all racist on One in a Million it would have been a standout hit off Lies. Overall that album was severely overshadowed by Appetite.

shit, coworker just killed the Guns in favor of the Metallica Black album. This disturbs me on several levels, don't get me started on the Black album or what I prefer to refer to as "the last gasp album".

Right on the money there brudah - Hell I kinda think that anything after Master became "for the $$" and not for the Rock

I give them lots of credit for the And Justice album, it was good. They shouldn't have turned down the bass track so much just cause it wanst Cliff though, made the music suffer some.

I see your point, but for me, after Garage, Lightening and Master, Justice seemed like a bit of a let down - Yeah, I know "one" and all but to me, those boys are "Lightening and Master" when the music just kicked ya right tween the eyes

To focus on One just because it was the big hit off the album doesnt really give the disc it's due. Shortest Straw, Dyers Eve, Harvester of Sorrow, Blackened, these were great songs. But I digress. As long as we can agree that the Black album was watered down and weak, and of course Load was a load of crap.

I don't understand how you can think AJFA... was a turning point for the worst. Sure, it wasn't Master, but still a damn great album. The music was 'right'.

Black was weird. I was worried by the pop-iness to the tracks, so many were too radio friendly. A band that said (before One) that they would never do a video basically changed alot on Black.

After that I never owed another Metallica album. Post-Black is just a bunch of crap for the kids to listen to. Just weak weak weak. They were so over like 10 years ago.
