I did mine last weekend....If I knew I was getting $2500 back, I would have filed in january!

i couldn't hang on to it if I had it. I do it purposely.
but being in school, and also paying student loan interest get me a lot more back than usual.

I remember when I got a couple hundred knocked off for school loans.

Now...$3 this year. I should just give up and pay that damn thing off so I don't have to write checks whenever I remember to. I only paid $50 in interest this year (almost paid off).

I dropped mine off mid March and got the money pretty quickly. I'll be screwed if they get rid of writing off the house interest.
