Lost temper but felt good!

Well i really blew it Sunday night. I got barred from friggen WalMart in bloomingdale. Last minute gift (3) small items)) but the lines were unreal! i am standing in line for roughly 15 minutes (which felt like an hour by the way) and some hindu or indian looks around and goes to the front were the magazines and tv guides are and starts reading one and the steps in the line right up there. people started raising a fuss and i got pissed so i walked up to him and said get at the end of the line like the rest of us. he started talking in his native tongue so i sort of politly showed him (pointing) to get back there. He started screaming at me in his language and i had enough so i knocked his turban thing off his head, grabbed him by the throat, and introduced him to the floor! mind you i never actually punched him which i wanted to smash his FUCKING head in! people in line were saying way to go which was cool but the cops felt different when they showed up. after sitting in the WALMART lockup room they reviewed the tape of what happen and let me go! I just am not allowed in Walmart there now. The reason i am telling you this is because i am not a predjudice person by nature but after the security and police showed up this bastard spoke perfect english! PISSED me off to high heaven! Well i am going to Walmart today and see if they really would know if i walked in. More than likely not. Just my Holiday story for ya!

good job! I wish more people would beat down the idiots, maybe they'd stop acting like it in public anyways...

I'd think twice about going back though. They do notice and will arrest you if they told you they would - at least that was the deal when I worked retail as a teen...

That's awesome

Good for you for standing up for yourself and the other customers.

Getting banned from a Wal-Mart is pretty cool ... reminds me of the scene in O Brother Where Art Thou where they get banned from a Woolworth's

Actually, I lost my temper in Jewel in Barrington. I was cheered by two women I asked twice, politely for this woman to move her cart, so I could squeak by. She ignored me So I yelled, "Lady, lead follow or get the fuck out of me way!", she turns around and said" Aren't you filled with the Christmas spirit", and snapped back " I would be if you didn't drive that cart like you drive on I90" then the applause by two women behind me started.... I have graduated for dumb ass to smart ass

Not ot sound prejudice myself, but a large majority of Indians in this country are very intellegent people that have gone ot wchool here. They might play dumb like this guy, but they aren't.

F-ing great. I just hate the crowds and jerks this time of the year. Hope it was worth it.

Got my last xmas present last night. Whew.

Thanks for the compliment, and just to correct any misunderstandings that may have started, not all hindu's wear turbans on their heads and most hindus know that there is a line and we all wait our turns just like everyone else. I agree that what that guy did wasn't right and that starting a confrontation with him may not have been the best solution, but there is a difference in ethnicities and we're not all the same just cause our skin color is the same.

I'm sure it was just this guys attitude and nothing to do with his ethnicity.

Like i said before i am not predjudice but nor do i go out of my way to find out which culture does what and wears what. I am a little cultured as far as arabic goes due to the fact of my time in the gulf. Yes maybe you would call it "ignorant" american but i say Fuck it! If it does not directly affect me why bother now. If they are not willing to be gracious enough to speak the language of the COUNTRY they live in; (at least in public) they all deserve an ass kicking! NO PREJUDICE intended. Just my feeling. Atleast make an effort. Do i speak arabic or indian? No because i am here! Personally i don't want to go over there freewilling so like i said earlier...............Maybe he was in a hurry and was fed up with waiting like the rest of us but i would venture to say he probably will wait in line from now on.

Then again probably not..............................

Oh man, that's just awesome! Asswipe had it coming for sure. The balls on him to pretend not to speak english though, unreal.

I have the funniest mental picture of what Wal Mart lockup is.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

You're lucky the guy wasn't violent himself. It may make you feel good to over-react like that, but these day's you might just get yourself shot. Not a smart reaction. I'm not a violent person in any way. In fact, I'll let most things slide. But anyone lays, or even thinks about laying a hand on me, just might lose said hand. What you did was assault. Even if you didn't "hit" him. He would have been justified in responding in kind, or at the very least could have pressed charges.

A couple questions on the subject:

1) Where do your decendents come from? Unless they are American Indian, they aren't from here. This basically means that when they did come over here, they must have been speaking an alternate language, unless of course they came from another english speaking country.

2) You state that you don't speak another language because you are "here". Could that be because you know no other language and what your saying is that, unless people only speak english, they deserve and ass kicking? Now refer back to question one.

3) So if your Indian, Chinese, Arabic, Polish, Russian, Italian, Spanish, whatever it may be... your telling us that we should only speak english when we're in public? Last I checked, the American way is freedom of speech and that means in any language. Also, should they stop teaching foreign languages in schools as well then?

I understand your frustration and don't support what that guy had done, but don't let that close your eyes to the rest of the world and hold a prejudice against people of different decent.

You guys wanna STOP looking for racial issues to draw from or turning this subject into something else?
some people are turning this into something else and this thread is getting silly with some peoples shine the light on back grounds or descendants or what race you are to take insults from.

Give me a break some but head got out of line it happens to be someone that chose to speak another language and might have decent from some other part of the world and then he goes off screaming some language other then English so the majority wont understands it, and then get puts in line a little.

Big deal so what!
grow some thicker skin!

I thought chicagoland roads were filled with morons but that is nothing! Stores at christmas time are packed with idiots! They come out of the woodwork, or just take stupid pills around the holidays. It takes supreme concentration to keep myself from exploding while shopping. its stuff like this that makes people go postal. (no offense to postal workers, hahha)

I couldn't agree more. I think they sell those pills in bulk only. The other day I was pulling into a parking spot and the landy in the next spot had here door open just shuffling aroung in her car for 2 minutes or so. She got out of the car, eventually, and looks at me as if I was blocking her way. I was thinking: you fakin' bacon wrinkly bitch. Unfortunately, I ended up walking into the same store as her and some guy held the door open for her and she walked right in and didn't even say thanks. Bitch move number 2. So then she stops right infront of me and starts looking around the store, blocking my way, so I tried side stepping her and she moved in that direction and then stopped again. Bitch move number 3. At this point I saw an opening and jet past her and the words bitch just happened to jump out of my mouth . Ba-hum-bug!:
