Leathers??

I'm tossing around the ideas of either getting a full suit, or just getting some leather pants to zip into my joe rocket jacket or my first gear jacket. I do mostly street riding, but want to get to the track this year. Any suggestions?? I found a guy that has Honda suits for 325 shipped to my door. But I think I want to just get pants instead. Thanks for your help... (B)

I would go with just the pants.........those one piece suits are not very conveinant for every day use.
Wait till your a serious track whore to get the one piece.

Just my opinion.

This is gonna hurt!

Thanks for the input, I was thinking of getting the Joe Rocket Pants, I saw a post on a forum where someone was selling them for a good price. Any suggestions on where to get them. Specials on pricing? What is a good price for the pants only? Thanks again guys.

Head up North to Woodfield Motorsports and stop in to ask DanO. He's been giving CLSB members pretty good discounts on gear. Another plus is you get to try it on there instead of guessing whether or not it will fit if you mailorder it...

Careful with adding just pants to your wardrobe. If its typical of JR then its not a full circumferance zipper joining the coat to the pants. If its not, it wont be allowed on the track atleast by NESBA rules.

My JR blaster pants/jacket combo zips all the way around. Blaster pants don't have the knee sliders though. But if it's mainly for the street that shouldn't matter.

But Dano can hook you up. His price would have been lower than the price I paid for mine.

Speedmaster and Blaster pants have a full and 8" zipper.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.
