Anybody Know a good Chiropracter

I need to do something. I nervous to go to one blind cause I've heard that the wrong guy can seriously screw you up. Anybody know a good one in my area??? I know there is one on Route 53 by Normantown road, but I haven't heard anything about him other than he accepts my insurance. Any help?????

Thanks.

I have an excellent one.
He's on main and 59th in downers grove. Been going to him for years and all of my friends have been happy with him.

Oh yeah he rides too, so you have something to talk about.

good chiropractor is an oxymoron. They are all quacks who got their degrees in a strip mall.

you must have really screwed something up to still be hurting. I had a kink in my neck, but it was just from sleeping on it wrong. One day of Mineral Ice treatment and it was gone. Maybe you pinched a nerve...but still, I dont think pinched nerves last 2 weeks.

I dunno, I've been bio-freezing and poppn' Motrin since Christmas eve though. Trust me, I felt the same way about Chiropractors a while back, but nobody else has been able to help me with this recurring problem and I'm willing to give it a shot. Most people I talk to have had good luck with chiropracters, so to me it's worth the try.

I agree....they are not medical doctors. On the same level as Dr. Drey.

I know of this great little massage parlor that is very appreciative of tips. They could help you out....

That chiropracter just sounds a little quirky

I've already done the massage thing. My boss's wife owns a Massage Therapy place that I've gone to. They've even suggested a chiropractor.

I hear a lot of people who never tried it saying things like that. I know when I injured my back and was in bed for a month from the pain my chiropractor was the only one who could give me any relief. whats a doctor gonna do? give you pain killers and tell you to stay off your feet? Thats only masking the problem. you might as well go after the problem and fix it the right way.

your body is a finly tuned machine much like a bike. I know I pay huge amopunts to make sure my fuel mapping is correct to burn the proper mixture. So why wouldnt you want to keep your body finly tuned as well. Do a little research and find out how the spine works. then you will understand the premiss behind chiropractorc care.

Oh and crazy yes they do take x-rays unpon your intial visit.
