Girls Only Track Day

Who would be interested in a girls only track day??? (Guy please don't whore up this thread.)

Depending on how many female riders we could get, it would only cost about $160. That's it, no extra membership fees or anything like that. I am tossing the idea up for July or August.

There's a Ladies only group during the PTT June 7th track day at BHF. No membership fees either.

UPDATE: I just realized I can't type... The trackday is on June 7th.

Learning Curves racing did them as well last year. It was like PTT, one group of just women. But LCR did have classes in between sessions.

Ask Ken about organizing track days. It's not as glamorous as first thought.

Femmoto. (I think?)

Talk to KBOlsen. She's a control rider for them from time to time.

Men need trackdays too. Can't we all just get along?

To be fair, guys are just as (and in many cases more) slow. Take me for example!

Lots of girls on here with tracktime though that can shed some light on this.

Off the top of my head:

KBOlsen
VIVID
KimF4i
BusaGirl
...and others

Rhiannon is super fast.

Key to going fast: don't try too hard. It just happens after all the pieces are in place. Or at least so I've heard, I'm pretty slow. I "tried" to go fast all last year in racing, ended up (at best) 4 seconds off pace than the year prior.

First time I saw her I lined up behind her in the I group. Thinking I'd stay behind and maybe learn something.

Sure did, l learned how slow I really am. Left me in the dust after she scrubed in her new tires

that's awesome!!! I'll be doing my very 1st track day this Sunday. Last year I did the intro course but only ended up doing 2 laps because I didn't have any gear of my own and was using Nick's try shifting in boots where your toes only reach half way thru the boot
