YZFRob's helicopter crashed today after tail rotor failure.

Yzfrob crashed a Bell 222B today after a tail rotor failure near Rock County airport during a routine flight. From preliminary reports, the tail rotor shaft snapped while at 5K doing 160knts. Spun out of control right into the ground. Helo is totally destroyed.

Now I gotta reset the damn simulator and try again.

Dont ya just love it when people talk in 3rd person?

You should try one of these sims, about 20 million.

I would love to play in one of those sit inside simulators. But if I had 20mil, I;d just get the real plane. Hell I'd have my rotorwing ticket now along with a real Bell 222B made up to look like Airwolf.

You bet, often times the sim costs more than the aircraft. But, you can crash the sim over and over again.

Is there anything you [I]don't[I] crash?

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

Actually I think they're $19 million...and that's with a full contract. I'm sure if you leave out some odds and ends you can get it for even less!

Group buy time.

Actually yes I am. I probably spent more time upside down in a car than most people have drivin over 100.

Everything else was an accident, the camaro in the field was a planned event. Friends old late model oval racer we took into his back field to flip it over. He was too chicken to roll it.
