free computer games to download

okay...

please help me out here. I am putting together a computer that I cobbled together out of parts from different people to give to my grandparents. They don't have the internet, truthfully, they only play solitare on the one they have now... could somebody point me to a couple of places where I can download non expiring simple games? they are big card players, so games based around card games or gambling.

scroll down and change the licenses to free and you should be able to get standalone free games to move onto that box.

You have to register, but it is free and there are tons of free games up there. It is also a great site for demos, patches and drivers.

Why spend the 10 clams?? Fileshack is a safe site in that the only stuff they push down to your PC is a tracking cookie. The site is add supported and I have never received any malware from going there.

Neither does anything from Fileshack. The only adds there are are on the sides of the pages as you navigate them; don't have to click on them if you don't feel the need. There are a lot of BS sites out there that push malware down, but this is not one of them. Many of the large software game design firms work directly w/ fileshack for promotion and demo distribution.
