Desmo RR - #1 on the US List........

..................is my buddy with the Xerox R

He just rang me and it will be in next spring - Seeing as he has the Xerox he was higher on the list and they just began taking orders today

As prevous threads have stated, you must me a "9" owner to get one and with the Xerox R, you are placed higher on the list - He told me that Corse Wisc was speaking with Duc and they said that there was a mass exodus of Xerox R's from the US Dealers when this was released - Duc has gone on record to say that they will never make another bike like this again

I swear he is doing this because my Busa is faster than his Xerox - Regardless, in 1 yrs time I will be able to ride one of these bad boys

Must be nice to have that type of money... Can't wait to see it out at Strats!

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

Not quite as high, but up there nonetheless

I will be scared shitless for the fact that i don't have the coin to replace it but just to run it slow and easy is enuff for me - He and I are close and he is WAY cool - It will not be the first day he gets it and I will never ask but the way he is, after a mos or so when we head out to ride, he'll throw a leg over my bike, nod at his and say if you drop it, I'll beat you to death with my bare hands - For those of you who have met him, he is a monster and could kill me with 1 punch - Alas, he is on my side though

Is he getting it from Corse? I was talking to Sam yesterday about it. I was giving him a hard time about how much it was and joking around that yeah... there's not much margin on these at $65K. He said they'd actually lose money on the first couple they'd sell because of the tools necessary and certs to support it.

Word - Jack, seeing as that is where he got the Xerox, I am sure that is who is getting the Desmo for him - I was too excited to even ask - it is however a yr away
