Someone broke into my garage

I'm guessing that happened between 11pm last night to 9am this morning. They got in through the side door. The only thing they stole was my air tool set 'motherfuckers'. They left the heavy ass compressor, car and 2 motorcycles + 250cc scooter, tool box and misc tools alone. I found the emtpy air tool box in the garbage can. I'm going to stake out my garage tonight to see if they come back for the stuff they couldn't take with them. Time to get out the p220 and get some payback 'god damn theives'.

Wow... that sucks! Was the door locked? What kind of lock? Deadbolt? Did they pry it open? Did you call the cops for a case #?

On the bright side... at least that's ALL they stole. Talk to a few members (myself included) that have had bikes stolen. I'd bet they'd rather have the air tools stolen. Still sucks though bro. Sorry.

They pryed it open. No deadbolt, which I will be changing it to asap and I'll have to get a steal door. I haven't reported it yet. I hear ya, I'm happy that's all they took. I would think they would try for the other stuff some time in the future and I hope to god that I catch them.

I'm not going to claim it since it only cost less than $150 to replace what they took.

just so everyone knows, sams club has small ccd cameras that record in nighvision also...would suggest seting one up in a hidden place looking at the door....

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

That sucks Larry. Seeing as they know that you have all that other stuff in there, they may try to strike again. Now, if you had come along with us yesterday and had some Coke with Mao, you prolly would have been awake to catch them.

Just in case, might not be a bad idea to reset/clear your garage door opener of all programmed remotes.

I doubt the thieves were smart enough to program it with one of their own, but you never know....

Sure would make breaking in next time a snap.

Yeah, but then we'd have to pay them disability, social security, and medicare for the rest of their lives.

True story... My wife used to work/manage a waterbed store when I was in college. Couple come and were looking at a bed. The guy must have got hurt at work and she asked him how many fingers he would have to lose in order to afford this particular waterbed... F'd up...

Yeah, this year has been brutal. If you sleep hard, these folks will take the caps out of your mouth . I feel like it is a punishment problem. They are getting slapped on the hand for doing this stuff, so they keep doing it.

For such a cheap score, maybe it was someone you knew. Or just some punk kid that grabbed what he thought was the most expensive item he could carry. Either way it sucks. Inside job probably would have taken more. from the window.
