What the heck is this!?

I saw that DGY is selling one of these things called a "T-REX". I wonder if they are letting customers do test-rides lol...

Overrated in my opinion, check out the Arial Atom for a really sweet and interesting ride.

Good questions, I would be suprised if you needed a class M for it though, it seems to operate just like a car.

They're going for around $50k +/- I'm not saying that it's not a cool ride, but it only has a ZX-12's engine and weighs 900+ lbs. The Ariel Atom is comparably priced and can be equipped with a turbocharged 2.0l engine packing well over 300 horse... that little bitch would be a blast.

On a side note, I really don't trust 3 wheels, even if it's balanced and not prone to tipping, you still can't get the same aount of traction from a single point in the rear. Besides, the Atom is British and I love the exposed tube frame, looks like a Ducati. The Campagna is Canadian and well Canada sucks... I was up there last weekend for a wedding, $40 for a fucking case of beer... seriously, Canada sucks.

I was there once when a salesguy was taking out a customer for a testdrive. The salesguy drove it. I like it, but for 50k I'd get something else. With windows.

Yeah and with the exchange rate it should be better... and plus it has more alcohol in it. Hence why you pay more.

No M class needed. If it's 3 wheels, it has to have motorcycle steering aka handlebars.

And who makes the motor? I just saw it was 1164cc...no manufacturer listed. I know the originals were based off of zx12rs.

Since it's a motorcycle engine and transmission, does it have reverse?

I thought they were kinda lame when I first saw pictures of them but when I saw them in person at DGY, they're pretty cool. I'd buy one if I had a bunch of disposable income.

There are 4 of them listed on flee-bay, all going for 46,800 and 46,900. Saw a couple of them driving around when I was in Miami.

Sweet concept, but bitch performance. TLC did a bit on this car/bike, 0-60 in something like 8.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 16ish... My Taurus will smoke it... for $100,000, that's just not acceptable.

Check this badboy out:
Year 2006 concept, late 2006 production
Engine 2.4 litre supercharged V8
Transmission 6 speed sequential RWD
Max speed 200 + mph (est)
0-60 mph 2.5 seconds (est)
Horsepower 500 bhp @ 10,500 rpm
weight 465 kg / 1102 lbs

T-Rex originated in Canada. They go for around $50k. They did use the 12R engine but newer ones are using the ZZR1200. New World Riders has one & think #1 Stunnas as well. I rode with one couple years ago from downtown to Old Orchard Rd. Blew by as if I were standing still & we were in triple digits. I'd def get one.
