Looks like one of those new Xenon bulb lights with a red lens filter on it to prevent loss of night vision while on a patrol/ hunt. Pretty cool Ken. What kind of batteries does it use?

actually its a Z3 combat light from surefire, they are kinda like the old model , now they have the M3 i think 20more lumens (really cant see that with the eye) this thing is strong enough to blind you and throw you off for a minute with spots in the eye, i am gonna order the 205lumen bulb for it.
i choose the older style cause it has been used for years in law enforcement and can take a beating! plus its black, not ti colored like the new ones.
it takes 3 - 3volt123 batteries
its mainly used in law enforcement as a tactical flashlight..and that attachment on the front is ofcourse a tool to use as a pressure point, or an inpact device incase if you had to use it.

You can order all kinda of flip up shields with different filters, if you want...but that's mainly for weapon lights.
