They have something similar on 90 by elgin where all the construction is. I drove by and was looking at them today thinking how sweet it would be to lose all my limbs on it. It's in the grass in the middle, scary stuff.

edit, found a pic of the stuff. It's the same on 90 but in the grass. I gaurantee you're dead if you slide into it.

Yeah ... there are a lot of those all over our country too, and they are on twisty roads. There is nothing like railing around, and being constantly reminded that if you lowside into it, it would be like going through a cheese slicer
