I'm in Skokie, possibly 2 blocks away from the border. What's up?

Forgive Fish, he's Asian. A 3 yr old with a bat would freak him out. My friend own's a beauty store on Church and Dobson? (right across from ETHS) and that's were most of the gangsta's hang out. I've actually spoken to them before and they seem like nice guys.

Evanston is awesome.. I have family that lives there and I'm just a hop skip.
Best part of Evanston is every fall a new set of Northwestern Chicks come rolling into town~!

lol... I'm somewhat familiar with South Evanston/Rogers Park area. I was looking for a condo around the place last summer and decided to pass when I couldn't find anything I liked.

My buddy and I are going to be renting a place. I wanted to find out who was close, where you guys ride, what else there is to do for fun, etc... we both ride so we'll be looking for some routes...

It's not the fall that hurts... it's the sudden stop at the end...

Well, lot's of bumpy riding in that area. Sheridan to the north or Lake Shore Drive to the south. That's really all the riding you can do there. If you're looking for routes to ride, that's about as bad a spot to live in as it gets I can suggest a few places to play chess in the area though! hehe

Chebella lives there now. I moved out like a year ago. Yeah, by ETHS on Dodge it's a little scary. Everywhere else is fine for the most part. I wanted to move from my studio i had, but all the 1 and 2 bedroom apts around there were too expensive.

I miss Evanston a lot. Lots of cool people and good eats

And yeah, theres no where to really ride motorcycles at all. If you have a bicycle it's good. I used to ride down along the lake to North Ave beach on the weekends. That is a cool ride

We ride ANYWHERE but around here. For fun, anything that's OUTSIDE of Skokie or Evanston will do. Only route i know that's close is the Ravines in Glencoe, kinda dangerous for nUbs, but fun as hell to roll through. Dangers: Leaves, Manhole covers, and the f'd up part is that the covers seem to be at every turn. Also, there are homes above the ravine and unexpected things may fall in your way. (last year a basketball fell from the sky and my cousin almost got hit)

+1. I live near Mccormick and Church. I'd hit up Mccormick all the way to Oakton, down to Sheridan, head towards Northwestern, then Chicago to Golf (I forget the name of the street when it gets to Evanston) then back up on Mccormick. Fun bicycle ride, and at times you may even see black squirrels.

Hey, I live in evanston.....Everything the boys have said so far is about right. There are a bunch of bars here to go to, some with NU people in them. About the only riding I do around here is sheridan and ditto what was said before. Let me know when/where you guys are moving.

I never went to the Evanston bars. Some people like em. I didn't. Too uppity. One bartender got all offended when we asked for an Irish Car Bomb on St. Patties day. He said it was very inapropriate. Another bartender corrected my grammer when I asked, "do you have a smoke I could bum?"

Mark II Lounge and Mullins, (both on Western Ave.) are good sleezy bars

Bleh, I've lived just about everywhere in the city except dirty south. I lived on Racine by UIC when the projects were still up. Lived in wicker when it was a hood. Living in Humboldt now... But Howard and clark area still scares the piss outta me.

Speaking of church, have you guys seen the church in Evanston on Golf RD ,with the purple neon lights up front? What's up with that?
