Turn $100 into $200...

So me and a friend were having a discussion last night. How can you turn $100 into $200 in 1 month without doing anything illegal or gambling? You have to make the money work for you.

We came up with a few ideas, but I'd like to see what you guys would do.

Take that $100 and send $20 to the first 5 people on the list on that chain mail thing, and don't forget to add your name to the bottom before you send it to 10 of your friends...Pretty soon your name will be one of the top 5 and you'll be rolling in the dough!

You could always go buy $100 worth of bottled water and over the summer sell them at kid-league ball games for $2.00 each. You'll have about $5,000 then due to the near 10-25x markup people will pay.

Oh wait, I only need to double my money, right? Gee, scratch that idea.

Pyramid scheme.

Guarantee one person that you can turn their $100 into $200 in one month or you will return their $100.

Get as many people as you can.

Take the pool of money and invest in something. Use the month of time to your advantage.

Pay the people their $200 with the money you earn on the large pool of money.

Then use the rest to buy Lamborghinis and sleep with super models.
take the pool of money and invest in something...invest in what... isnt that the part we are all trying to come up with...

I deleted my posts cause that shit is just too good. I may try it myself. lol Milkman delete my quote out of your reply.

Come to think of it, this seems what financial houses and investment firms do all day.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

But Milkman to answer your question..."invest in what".

It doesn't matter, if I get 100 people to give me $100 in a month, any kind of return would be profitable.

Then I just return the orginal $100 after the month is over. All the while continuing to get more people to give me $100.

After a while, I am sure I could start to honor the "double your money" claim and return $200. All while bangin super models in the front seat of my Lamborghini.

It doesn't matter, if I get 100 people to give me $100 in a month, I could put it in a savings account and earn 2% on $100,000.

Then I just return the orginal $100 after the month is over. All the while continuing to get more people to give me $100.

After a while, I am sure I could start to honor the "double your money" claim and return $200. All while bangin super models in the front seat of my Lamborghini.
Wait wait wait, it's only $10,000, and even if you've found something that will return 2% on investment in one month, let me know because I'll sell everything I own to get a piece of that action, 24% a year?! That's a phenomonal rate of return and the likes of which you won't actually find in a real market. You can't pull that much money that quickly, the highest rated and completely non- risk adverse investement houses only routinely pull 8-10% ROR. This isn't feasible and as many lamborghinis as you own, or supermodels you have on your knob is not going to matter when "the wrong people" are out $100 and pissed at you for losing it.

I have seen this happen. Years ago, when I worked for a company. Some guys would actually loan "a buck for 2" till payday. Didn't matter if payday was tomorrow or 2 weeks. Always "a buck for 2" More often than not this cycle repeated itself over & over, with the same guys borrowing.

This reminds me of a story I saw in the Tribune a few years ago. Some guy took out an ad, "Get Rich Quick Idea, Send $10 To This Address For Info."

People who sent in $10 did receive a letter informing them to take out an ad in the tribune that says, "Get Rich Quick Idea, Send $10 To This Address For Info." I got to hand it to the guy; however he did get busted. I don't see a crime?

Better one was How to become a millionaire send in $5.00 for info.
The guy would send a piece of paper back with the text. "save your money."
