Bye Greg White...

...and hello superbikes, I just saw a commercial for it, which premieres next tuesday, and I liked what I saw. It looks alot more interesting than anything goober ever had.

it doesnt say that Greg Whites being replaced that I saw

I'll have to see the new show before forming an opinion. It sounds like it could leave a bad impression in non riders minds

I see an earing wearing, sleeve tattooed, bedhead kid with Chuck Taylors stunting down Main St doing some kind of Travis Pastrana stunt while knocking an old lady down with his chain and wallet combo

People forget before speed or speedvision or whatever you call it there was Zip NOTTA !!! NOTHING ..... ok maybe an occaisional dirt bike race or Dan Schmitt on the Chicago Access channel. Speed may not be the greatest but at least they are showing pro roadracing I watched like 4 or 5 races on Sunday MotoGP & AMA. I do wish they would show the qualifying and some club racing.
your other options:
OLN picks up a couple of dirt bike races and some supermoto races
Discovery = Big twin tv/ american chopper / biker buildoff

Way back before it became nascarTV, it used to be Speedvision. I don't remember seeing much of any nascar when it first came out. Seems like everything they show now is just filler between nascar programs.

right, that's what I was referring to, Tuesday used to be bike day....all day. you could watch 125gp races, flat track, hill climb. now it's just a crappy 2 hours of Tuesday night.

Am I the only one that actually liked Greg White? He wasn't the best show host but at least his love and excitement for motorcycles was genuine.

His sense of humor didn't translate too well to mass media. but you are right, he does have good knowledge of racing. I find a lot of this could describe Joe Rogan doing UFC. Looks like he doesn't fit, but he knows what he's talking about.

He's supposed to be working on a special traveling across the US on various backroads. That could be interesting for the sport tourers out there.

Saddly there are a lot more NASCAR fans than MC racing fans and the money goes were the market is. NASCAR draws a lot more fans than MotoGP and AMA combined so tha is what they show. I'm greatful they show as much as they do. I will boycott Speed as soon as one of the critics tells me were else I can see the races? Anyone?

+1 on the above post.

I just watched the final episode,
it was pretty cool the way they ended it with the flashbacks of all the interviews and rossi ending it.

I saw a preview for the new show, didn't impress me very much. but we'll see.
