Speaking of Xbox

Would anybody in the Orland Park area be interested in playing Halo or some other multi player games for Xbox or PS2 (if I get the damn the working again)? Got a 52", food and cold beer usually. My buddies from work usually get together about twice a month to play, but I'm always up for meeting new people, and having more people over, especially if they're people that I can mee to go riding with in the spring.
I thougth about doing this invite with my other online car club, but they have way too many members, plus I played Halo online with them and was schooled like a 2nd grader in a calculous class.

Hey, I'm not in Orland, I'm on the southwest side of the city, but I'd be up for it.

Yeah, too many nerds on that board (I know which one you're talking about, you're ForbidnLT1 over there, right?) Some of them practically LIVE in the Halo online rooms. I can't play with them either, it's no fun - I get my arse kicked. (I don't have Xbox but I've been to a few LAN parties.)

I'd be down for meeting up with ya... but we're pretty much as far opposite of Chicagoland as you can get. I dunno if I'm up for driving 2+ hours

How's about we organize with some of the NW folks, and then do an all-out championship later? Nort side vs. da sout side? MotoGP-2, GT3, or Halo if someone else has an Xbox around here (I don't have one.)

Yup I'm A.K.A. ForbidnLT1, I thougth I recognized your handle on that board too, but couldn't remember for sure. That would be, I do have a hub and broadband, so we can get four players here, and then four players up by you. A GT3 tournament would be good too, or any sports games, if there's enough interest maybe we can organize something.

You can handle your business in street fighter? Hehehehe , you think you can handle a living legend in street fighter? They used to call me RYU when I worked at funcoland. I used to play people for discount. You beat me and you got one free thing in the store.... Needless to say I never gave anything away. i think i gave those kids who played me , emotional scars for life. wahahah.

Here's what I got right now street fighterish:

Marvel vs. Capcom 2
SNK vs Capcom 2

pick your poison.

or
if someone brings Street Fighter Alpha 3, I will dish massive death. Wont be pretty.

Who's interested in doing this the 25th of this month? Email me or IM/AIM me at [email protected]. Let's see what we can get rolling. I'll play anything, and love being a host, so if I'm not into the game, feel free to keep playing, I'll order a pizza or something for the rest of us.

Is on-line play possible with these with only a 56k dialup? I've never really tried it yet, just wondering if the connection is even fast enough to try.

Ok, so there seems to be about three of you guys (Pure Blue, Jenove Sin, and Obijuan) that would be able to make it, which is perfect for four player action. I'll probably have a few of my friends over too. Email me so I can give out my cell number if you're really interested.
