His name is Jack he is 9 months old and he is a male. He is great around kids and is well trained. I have no fence around my yaed and I let him out by himself with out him running away. I paid alot of money for him but I am willing to give him away for free. I do not want to bring him to a shelter!!!!!
If interested call me at 708 207 8827 anytime!!!! Thanks guys Also I have a house for sale I am only asking 280k

If you can't find a home and need to bring him to a shelter talk to me. My wife works at the Plainfield Humain Society and can make sure it gets a good home.

Any chance he's good with cats? Hopefully to the point he will ignore them?

Is Jack house-trained? I've been casually shopping for a chocolate lab for a few months (was going to go through a breeder, planning on picking one up this Spring) if no one else takes you up on your offer I'd like to find some time to meet him.

Thanks~

Hey Patrick,

Make sure your landlord allows dogs and that the dog deosn't mind being alone when you're at work. I have two dogs, luckily they keep each other company when I'm at work.

Good advice Norse. My apartment does allow pets (and it's pretty big) so it's more a matter of me not feeling guilty leaving it alone for 9 hours a day.

I'm still working on that part!

Nine hours will be tough Patrick. My Lab mix can handle it, but I still don't like to do it often.

Sorry for all the G2G.

Thanks Crazy.

As for the pooch, I start telecommuting this Spring, which is why I thought I could finally give a dog the attention it deserves. However, there's a long time between now and then, so I'll probably just hold off until I know my schedule a little better.

Hope Jack finds a good home!

Ah, the 1-minute commutes. I engage in that myself a couple times a week. Hmm....mid-day ride breaks???????

The only thing to watch out for if you telecommute, if you are on a conference call and the dog starts barking, just tell the people you are conferenced in with that it is "cheap staff augmentation" (I actually used that line myself!)

Sorry I have not responded I have been busy with trying to sell my house. I do have a cat and he does like to play but he does not terririze the cat. He is house trained to the point were he can hold it for a long time if he has to. I have a cage that I keep him in while nobody is home cuz at first when he was a pup he could not be trusted. No he is so use to going in there when we leave that he usually goes in there to take naps and to relax. I do have picks but no scanner. You are welcome to stop by and play with him and check him out on weekend or in the evening. He is a very good looking dog and not to big. Like I said if you have any question just let me know don't be shy (708)207-8827.
Last resort I will get in touch with ya Crazy Thanks guys for all the interest!!!

To some extent (aside from feeding, yard cleaning, vet bills) they take care of each other.

What happens when you play a Country/Western record backwards?

You get your wife back,
You get your pickup truck back,
You get your dog back, and
You get sober!

All I've been hearing since I showed my GF this post is...Can we get Jack? I told her someone else in first in line...but if she doesnt want him, then we will more than likely take him.

My GF wants to post to Holly....."you really dont need a dog...just think of the responsibilities."
