Road America Questions

I am looking to go up to the vintage auto races at Road America this weekend. I have a couple questions I was hoping some of you might be able to answer.

-Since I have no reservations as of yet, where would you all recommend I look for a hotel just for Saturday night, in Sheboygan? Any favorite hotels/motels that are fairly close, cheap, and are not dives?
-Would anyone care to share their favorite viewing locations at the track (turn #__)?
-Are there any interesting restaurants that are worth a visit? I have read on here about a Seibkens(sp?), is it a bar, bar/restaurant, and where is it located?
-Finally, is there an alternate method to get to RA from Minooka other than what google maps recommends(I80E to I55N to I294N to I94N/US41N to I43N to US23W to SR67N)? You can PM me if you don't want to make it public. For this trip I intend to take my car so I just want to get there as fast as possible. I will attempt a scenic trip on the bike some other time.

your only choice will be sheboygan. anything in downtown elkhart will be booked or very expensive. its not that bad of a drive especialy considering the $$$ saved. also, thanks for the reminder i will probably head up there sunday.

Try finding a hotel in Fon du loc. I stayed there for the superbike races and it's only 30 min away. I paid $140 for a nice 2 br suite. Turn 5 and 8 is where I usually watch. Also try out turn 12 in the back of the track down the wooden stairs, there is a nice set of bleachers and is usually empty.

Turn 5 would be where I would watch from. I stay in Fond Du Lac every year because it is cheaper. There are many nice hotels in Fond Du Lac for cheap.
