My parents have one. Do you want to know about it, or are you looking for one?

Not sure about any local breeders, but you can usually find them at local puppy places every couple of months or so.

Go to puppyfind.com, you can find some really good breeders on there, but beware of scams, you can find those on there a lot too.....but they are pretty obvious.

Those dogs totally rule. Hyper and loving also very loyal and smart. My boyfriend had one from the time that he was 5 until he was almost 20. He loved her and would love to have another one if we had the room. They need to run alot and also need lots of attention and training. I love my neighbors and steal her to run with me on a regular basis. Get one

I have one. Well, my folks do. But I still consider her my dog. Smartest dog I ever had, and has more personality than most people. Great dogs. Always chasing birds and squirrles. Pic is in my profile

I have a couple of connections if youre looking for field lines. If youre looking for a bench dog then I would recommend visiting the AKC website to find a reputable breeder.

They are considered by many to be the premier dog for pheasant hunting!

Adopt one from a shelter, there are plenty! And you can write off the adoption fee on your taxes.

My parents bought one when I was born. We literally grew up together and slept in the same crib!

Amazing dogs. The field springers are much more spastic than the bench springers in my experience. Very smart, very protective, great with families.

My parents are getting another one as soon as they retire. I miss my dog.

adopting is a pain in the ass, but better than paying up the ass from a breeder or puppy farmer! My beagle and aussie are from shelters and never been happier. Of course the shelter that I got the aussie from had to do a home inspection. That was lame! Just my 2 cents.

You basically described my dog. I trained her and took care of her while I still lived with my parents, then everyone was so attached when I was going to move out so they wouldn't give her up. Oh well, I went and got a Brittany as a furry replacement.

Gee, I really like Spaniels as a warm fuzzy dog. My 5 year old is on my case every week for a mooch. I've been avoiding it as we all have stupidly busy lives, but have been pulling for a Whippet. Grace hates the idea. I like my sight hounds, but a Doberman is out of the question. A Spaniel sounds like a much better choice for a kid. They are beginning to talk about either a Bouvier(sp?) (Punt!) or a Collie which I hate. I think one day I'm going to come home to something I don't want.

hmmm, a medium mooch that we all can live with....

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
