WOW that was fun!

yesterday was prolly the most fun i've ever had driving. So, i'm on my way to the city and hop on Dempster. As soon as i merge onto the highway, a new Jetta tails me, and he's right on my ass. So, i pop it in tip, drop it in 2nd, then off i go. I'm weaving in and out, i lose him, i slow back down so he can catch up, then as we pass Irving Park, and i slowed down due to traffic, and of course, this guy passes me thinking he won. lol. Then, a few secs later, an older 540i sport with new tags (01 i assume) gets on my ass too, so i give it a go. i lose him after a few ins and outs, then i slow back down since i can't see him in my rearview anymore. Then, while passing Fullerton i come up on a yellow wingless Evo. I kept pace with him, then dropped it in 2nd and off i go....again. He chases me, were dissecting traffic, a few close calls (this fucking A6 is HUGE compared to my Prelude) then i make a wrong move and go all the way to the slow lane and get stuck behind traffic, so Mr. Evo blows by me. Anyways, basically i am sharing this because i haven't felt this rush since i first got my bike. I love riding on 2 wheels, but at times, being on 4's is a lot better. And also, for a big heavy pig of a car, this thing moves! I can't even believe that the Evo had a tough time catching up to me...That is all.

happy motoring!

Glad you had fun, but the A6 and the EVO aren't even comparable. Hell, a Lexus 430 will crush an A6.

oh, i don't remember saying that my car was faster, just stated that i 'couldn't believe that he had a tough time catching up to me from a roll'. And i do not have the 2.7t, i have the V8. Puts out as much power as the Evo, but heavier than crap. It could also be driver, i know not everyone can drive like me. And Ed, i'm sure the GTI will walk all over my fat6.

Now the V8 is a much more FUN vehicle!! It must be the driver, either way, it sounded like fun.

I guess I'll be the first to say I frown upon driving like that.

I considered myself to be an above-average driver, but I've driven SCCA events on and off tracks enough to know that shit belongs on the street no more so then it does with a bike.

You may 'be in control' but what about the lady you scare the crap out of and she over-reacts, casuing an accident herself.

Take that A6 up to Gingerman.

Actually was what I meant by my post. I'm sure the other people had a blast with those "close calls" as well. Not trying to sound preachy, but those are dick moves.

In an AWD V8 - That would require A LOT more aggresiveness than 94 could allow

As for SCCA events - Done many and even a few PCA as well and it is like comparing NESBA or CCS to the ride out to Strats - We all push it a lil on the bikes as well as in the cages while on the streets - Anyone who says they don't, well, I guess I was wrong

Yeah, i drifed the Audi on a one way street in the city while drunk driving and being chased by cops...best feeling in the world when you get away. I then opened a bottle of Crystal in the car to celebrate my victory. Awesome shit. And i get a wood driving like an asshat and scaring people, i just love it soo much!!

They're angels, cut em some slack. Hey, do you know if they allow drop tops WITHOUT a roll cage in SCCA or Auto-X?

fun and broke should never go in the same sentence...

All you need is 20 bucks.. get a bottle of gordons vodka for 12.99 with preferred card. Get some tonic 99 cents and some limes 30 cents. Proceed to finish that bottle and then head out to some bars in lincoln park with your buddies.. that's always a good time

And you got like 6 bucks left to buy the lucky lady a drink..

Not sure as the only cars I have tracked in SCCA and PCA all had tops (WRX & Twin Turbo) so I never REALLY looked into it but I am going to wager a "yes" on the roll bar if ya goin topless
