Good morning San Diego. Looks like my vacation killed the next two months of riding.

Surfed unknowingly into a reef area this morning. Board fin hit a rock and stopped... I supermanned into the water and my shoulder hit another rock. It was a bitch to swim back in . Glad it was my shoulder and not my head- no helmets out there .

At least I did some great riding in Oregon before heading South. Since I'm sitting around, I'll post some pics of the ride later.

and BTW-- there's now a spot open with ZoomByU to travel to BHF on the 29th and 30th.

Damn sorry to hear that Darren. You ride thousands of miles on the bike, commute to work in Chicago, knee drag on Wildcat Mountain, all without injury, and you get hurt surfing. Good you are okay, and no sharks were after you Open Water style after the accident .

Man that sucks... and having to swim back with the break. OUCH! Heal up quick.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Collar bone, been there-done that. Get the doc to give you a figure 8 brace, works way better than a sling, trust me.
