New Toy - M3

I pulled the trigger on a 04' M3 this weekend...

Pics attached.

Nice change of pace when it was almost too hot for the bike the past weekend.

01. Not that great since i have aftermarket suspension. (a tad stiffer, really noticeable at low speeds on the freeway)

One of my peers at work has that car, it is fast although he was impressed when he drove mine over the weekend.

I also had the opportunity to drive the SLK 55 AMG in a parade. That car was sweet with the retractable hardtop. The automatic had a little lag to make power but then it fricken took off(400 hp).

Is that the E55? If so, that is the ultimate ride - 4 door sedan with the Benz Lux and hp out the arse

C32 or C230? E55 looks a helluva lot better than that.

I wish, its a C32 AMG still a 4 door Supercharged Benz just with 2 less cylinders.

The lag you felt was probably the supercharger clutch engaging. it takes a sec when you get on it.

I had a chance to beat on a E55 once and with the Trac Control off from a 20 mph roll, floored and the ass end broke free like a mutha

Yeah.. I really didn't get enough time with it. The finger shifters behind the steering wheel were cool along with the personalized singature on the hand made engine.

Nice M3, I liked that car alot great motor... but too much other fluff that I don't care for. BMW advertises pure driver cars but they have alot of excess that pure drivers don't care about. Now if they sold the light weight version of the M3 that they do in Europe i would be all over it.

All in all the M3 is an awesome car... nice choice!

Very nice car!

My buddies dad just picked up one of these:

2006 Cadillac XLR-V Specifications
Engine
Type: V8, Supercharged
Displacement cu in (cc): 267 (4371)
Power bhp (kW) at RPM: 443(330) / 6400
Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 414(561) / 3600
Redline at RPM: 6700

It's ridiculously sweet.
