MOTOGP goes Hollywood

Took me a while to load this but....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9GaKDiAGao&NR

Jose Guess on ceracing.com was there and said:

Colin, John Hopkins, Casey Stoner, Nicky Hayden and Randy Mamola were in Hollywood in front of the Kodak Theatre. Also Nakano I think. Fairly large turnout and the MotoGP film crew was there. Colin was on an R6, Hopkins on a Rizla Replica GSXR, Mamola on the Ducati 2 seater and Nicky and Hayden on CBR1000's. Stoners bike was bad ass.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

OK, so I guess that was a PR stunt to get folks to know about either DTK and or Laguna MotoGP. Sad to see that they used street bikes for everything. But they were all nice lookin' replica bikes.

Don't be such a downer man. You actually think they are gonna bring out GP bikes? That would be a pain in the ass. How often do people get to see them up close and get autographs like that etc - plus they are showing off the proddy bikes made by they people who...gasp....employ them!

And most off all Sete "Hollywood" Gibernau has finally made it to the land he dreams of while he gazes at himself in the mirror.

I liked the bikes, I was actually surprised that they had that many Replibikes. It was nice to see Sete ride that far without crashing as well.

Haha. He's gotta be careful. He wouldn't want to re-break that collar bone. Did you know that the ambulance he was riding in got in a traffic accident on the way to the hospital after the Spanish GP? Rossi needs to lift the curse he put on him - just for humanitarian reasons.

I heard about that, I was joking that he can't even keep from crashing when he is a backseat driver!

I would be surprised if Ducati renewed Sete's contract for next year. They would be better off with Max Biatchi.
