Need a recommendation...

for a nice/good restaurant in Naperville, preferrably near rte. 59 and Aurora. Any type is good. (italian, mexi, whatever) Thanks.

Thai Lotus near Chalkboard on the NW corner of 75th and Rt59. It's near the end of the stripmall towards foxvalley mall.

It really depends on what you're looking for and your view of "nice".

Personally I don't like the Key Wester, it's like dressing a bum in a tuxedo. The decor plays the place off as being a fancy restaurant but I didn't think that their food was that good at all.

Ok, doesn't have to be fancy, just good food, alcohol, and close to that area. Italian sounds good, mexican is 2nd...

I like On the Border. It's a "TGI Fridays or Chili's" style of restaurant but is all mexican food. Not very authentic but good for what it is.

EDIT: I forgot, Luigi's is right infront of Meijer on 59 just north of Aurora Ave. I hear they have good italian food

As for italian the only place I can think of is off of Washington in the train station. great food but not near Aurora Ave and 59

Capri for Italian.

Ogden Ave, just east of River Road(east of the Mobil station), south side... middle of the little stripmall. There's a whitehen in that stripmall...

Luigis actually changed names ... and sucks ass and shoul be avoided like the plague .... IMO

Key Wester or On the border are the way to go if you want to stay in that general area .... Joes Crabshack, Fridays, Red Lobster, Chilis are all right there too ... if you fly that way.

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

Big +1 for the same money go to 34th street fishery on ogden and get FRESH seafood.

Try the dover sole, and their gumbo is outstanding. Soft shell crab is almost in season I cant wait!

Awesome! Got the info needed, thanks again for all the suggestions. Now, i need a suggestion on what to get a mechanic for doing good work. I was thinking a case of an alcholic beverage, but i am not sure how his boss would react if he saw me carrying into the dealer. lol

Yeah, it might be Jimmy's Charhouse. Also, Texas Road House just opened on the east side of 59. I ate at the one near Kenosha a few years ago and liked it. No opinion on this new one though.
