Since Cycle Center is no longer a sponsor...

i would just like to say, fuck you very much for not doing what i had asked... again. I had brought in my 03 RR for it's 12k service on monday. First off, thanks to the fuckface that didn't know how to read contracts and told me that i DIDN'T have an extended warranty when i showed him that i had paid for it. 2nd, this is the 2nd time i had asked them to fix my gauge since the buttons did NOT work, and 1 week later, it still doesn't. Also, thanks for leaving grease and oil all over my plastics, rear hugger, and the rear tire/rim. And lastly, i have no idea what you guys were doing with the rear tail but now i have a spider crack in the paint from over tightening the bolts. Thank you..Oh yeah, i now i have a nice vibrating/chattering sound by the windscreen. Thank you for that also...

Damn dude, that sounds brutal. I was about to take my bike there for a 12k service and an oil change.

What other places do comparable service work that I won't have problems like these at?

That sucks, bro.

CCC really needs to figure out customer service. Stories like this are too common with them.

Price isn't the only thing. I'd rather pay a couple more bucks to a dealer I trust and will make it right if there is a misunderstanding.

The vibrating by the screen could be an electrical connector slapping around behind the cluster.

After checking it out i found out that they broke a screw that attaches the windscreen to the bracket. My remedy? I put some electrical tape in between the bracket and the windscreen. Worked like a charm.

yea dude I am with you!! I took my bike there for the 500 mile service because Jerry told me I had to bring it back to them for the warrenty (crock of shit)

So I go to pick it up and they said it was outside. I find it and there is shit all over it! Finger prints grease oil and all kinds of shit. That pissed me off to no end. I am an engine tech and I would never leave a mess like that on somebodys machine.

So any how I ask them for a list of the stuff that they did since it was for "WARRANTY" and all they could not tell me was what they did. I said were is the paper work. Blank stare. What did you set the valves at? Blank Stare. What parts did you replace? Blank stare. WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO OTHER THAN SMEAR GREASE ALL OVER MY BIKE!! Ah 500 mile service? and a blnk stare!!!!

WAIT IT GETS BETTER!!! ON MY WAY HOME THE FUCKIN LEFT FAIRING FALLS THE FUCK OFF!!!!!!!

Needless to say I will never even let them look at my bike with a telescope!

According to the "Evolution of the Sportbike Rider"

"Off to the local dealership -- and you agree the YZF Ninja GSXR-1 is the perfect bike to learn to ride on. The salesman tells you how cool you will look and even gives you a GREAT deal! $500 off MSRP!! You say, "SOLD!! I'll take a helmet and matching jacket with the extra money I saved." After adding freight, set-up, taxes, title, license, cleaning fee, advertising fee, adding a flux-capacitor and changing the brake light oil, you leave the dealership, paper plate and all, off to show some people up! What better place to show your riding skills then the local hangout parking lot. Not before taking a dull hacksaw to your rear fender and ripping off the signals for that "racer look"."

This is step 1 after purchasing your bike. When your ready to evolve, you fuckin ape, give me a call.

I don't know why I always have an extra piece left over after I do my maintenance.

Sorry, I didn't know an extended warrenty covered maintenance. At any rate, my point is that NO ONE will wrench on your bike as gently as you would. Except for warranty work, I wouldn't ever bring it back.

Actually, the extended warranty and the services are 2 different purchases. I knew so little that Ed (Buff bagwell look alike) closed me with purchasing BOTH. Extended warranty = $1700!!
