I like Progressive

For these of you that don’t know, I took my bike off-roading last Sat . The result of it was not preaty and the bike received a lot of front-end damage. Considering the cost to repair it vs. $250 deductible, I gave my insurance a call.

I expected a couple week proceeding followed by a “low-ball” offer and a lot of negotiating. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong.
First off everyone I talked to there was really nice and supportive.
Second the speed with which they handled things was great. I called them on Mon, adjuster came out on Tue, and I had my money on Thu. ($4600 for 01 ZX6R).
Third, they are not raising my rates because of it (or so they say).

And last, but not least, I got me an 02 VFR yesterday. First two minutes of riding were shaky, I even had to pull over for a smoke, but now I am loving it.

Good To Hear.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

my ex gf has them and they paid out about $2000 for a not-at-fault accident she was in. They let her keep the bike, and she fixed it for under $150, minus some parts I purchased for her myself 'cause i felt partly responsible... But the dealings weren't quite as smooth and not nearly as quick as it sounds like yours was. I think that may have been because there was the at-fault guy's insurance (farmer's i think) that was involved also...

But, a big plus is that last year I was paying about $850/yr for insurance, and then when I went to renew this year it had dropped to about $450/yr. Probably the only good thing about getting older I guess...
